Stinglab Success Stories

Your Guide // Kate Hinkens

Stinglab was born from my desire to share the medicine of the bees that saved my life.

After years of unexplained symptoms, I was diagnosed with late-stage chronic Lyme disease in 2019. I pursued intensive treatments, both western and alternative. As my health continued to deteriorate, I dealt with memory impairment, extreme fatigue, constant pain, and difficulty walking. When I first heard about bee venom therapy, I thought it sounded far-fetched, even though I had spent years in the alternative healthcare world. I started researching BVT more deeply and found study after study confirming its medicinal potential for not only Lyme disease, but also several types of cancers, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, IBS, and other inflammatory illnesses.

I decided to try it. I stopped every other treatment I was doing, discontinued taking all the medications and nearly every supplement specialists had prescribed to me. I ordered bees online and they showed up at my doorstep, a noisily buzzing cardboard box in the hands of my bewildered postman. I stood in my bathroom alone, nervous and shaking, trying to catch a bee flying around my bathroom with a pair of tweezers. I eventually wrangled a bee and stung myself.

Within a couple of weeks of stinging, I noticed a shift. I started to experience momentary glimpses of clarity where the intense weight of brain fog would lift. Within a few months, I was able to go back to work. Within a year, my joint pain, migraines, and extreme fatigue had lifted. Within a year and a half, I tested fully negative for Lyme disease. The bees had given me my life back.

I started Stinglab out of my deep gratitude for the bees and my desire to pass on this life-giving gift they had given me.
